He has been taking the lansoprazole for heartburn and reflux for three months. He says he "feels great" on his lansoprazole and doesn't get any heartburn now and is glad that he saw the doctor about it.
He has been taking the paroxetine for about two months now. Paroxetine were prescribed for him by his doctor because he was feeling tired all the time and having trouble sleeping at night, which he had put down to stress at work. Although work remains stressful, he doesn't feel as tired and is sleeping much better. He now wonders if he needs to have the paroxetine anymore but forgot to ask the GP. Ideally the patient would like to take fewer tablets. His asthma had also been getting worse and he was using his blue inhaler a lot so the doctor prescribed the new inhaler (Seretide). He has used the inhalers for "many years" and they have "worked a treat". He uses his "blue puffer" to help him to "breathe when having an attack", which happens only "occasionally" now he has his new puffer. He has noticed his mouth is sore since he started the new inhaler and wonders if he is using it properly. Accuhaler technique was good. MDI inhaler technique was good Accuhaler technique was not good. MDI inhaler technique was not good |
